Epoxy Injection
We have a full-time technician on staff to provide quick turn around time for your repair needs. We offer injection for cracked foundations, leaking snap ties, honeycombs, and oversized water main access.
We use both epoxy and foam depending on which works best.
What is Epoxy?
Epoxies are basically high-strength plastics. There are practically thousands of formulations used for everything from artificial trees in a zoo to gluing heat shields on the space shuttle. Epoxies consist of a resin and a hardener which when mixed together causes the two materials to react and harden.
The product we use is referred to as #1001. It is a two-component, 100% solid epoxy resin repair system.
Our product is 100% non-toxic in a cured form and is completely safe when used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
How is #1001 better than other materials?
Products such as caulks, sealer patches, adhesives, hydraulic cement, tars, and latex coatings are temporary repairs that require re-application over a period of time. Our product is specifically designed to provide for a permanent repair, and can withstand pressures of over 14,000 pounds per square inch. Other crack repair products rely on a surface bond to work. Moisture in the crack will ultimately breakdown this bond, and the repair will fail.
